Another Case of What The Heck Do I Write About?

One of my 2020 New Year’s resolutions was to write two blogs posts a month. I’ve been able to stick to that for almost every month. Kudos to me!

We’re at the end of December, and I am at a blank as to what to write about. So, I’ll write about how I don’t know what the heck to write about.

Ok, So...When I sit on the fact that I don’t know what to write about, I think about why I don’t know what to write about.

And I think it’s because I expect every blog post to include some practical value. Does it make you laugh? Does it teach you something? Does it inspire you to think differently? If I can’t think of a topic that fits that, then I am just at a loss.

So, here I am.

But – aha!

What if this is actually helping you? What if me writing about not knowing what the heck to write about inspires you to also write about how you don’t know what to write about when that time comes?

‘Cus we writers know that writing isn’t about motivation.

It’s about discipline!

As long as you’re putting words together that make complete thoughts, then you’re doing what you’re supposed to do!

Or I'm on that bullshit.

But I know one thing – I made half my quota this month. See you before the New Year, possibly with another “I don’t know what to write about” piece. Sorry, in advance.
